These important differences in the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga child care programs will give your children what they need to grow strong in spirit, mind and body.
• All YMCA child care programs feature a character development curriculum emphasizing honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.
• Caregiver/child ratios are equal to or lower than state licensing requirements which means that your child gets more individual attention.
• YMCA caregivers receive YMCA child care training, first aid training, and CPR certification.
• Our on-site child care programs are state licensed, and the off-site programs meet licensing guidelines.
• In YMCA after school programs, children receive encouragement and assistance in completing homework assignments.
• All YMCA caregivers area at least 18 years of age and all site directors are at least 21 years old.
• The Y also provides fun-filled planned activities designed to enhance your child’s confidence and creativity.
