There are many ways to volunteer at North Georgia Community YMCA. In fact, most of the time we can help "tailor" a position for a volunteer based on where their specific interests are. Do you like kids? You might be able to help at one of our after school sites. Do you like sports? You could be a part of our Saturday youth sports leagues for children. If you would like to be involved in the YMCA movement and be a “Y VOLUNTEER”, please let us know!

Below are some positions where we need volunteers most often at our YMCA:

Membership

Greeting members and guests, answering phones, scanning membership cards

Sports

Team coaches, game officials (youth leagues), league coordination (phone calls, copies)

Childcare

Storytellers, readers, special guests and tutors in ChildWatch and after school

Seniors

Help with coordination of activities
