Swim Lessons

Parent / Tot

Children 6-36 months old, children are accompanied by a parent or guardian into the pool for fun, exercise, parent education and safe water adjustment. Each class is 30 minutes, once a week for 4 weeks.

Pre-School Swim Lesson

Children 3-5 years old, this is a child’s first experience in the pool without parental assistance. The children are taught basic skills. They also learn about pool safety, boating safety and the use of personal flotation devices (PFDs). Each class is 30 minutes, twice a week for 4 weeks.

Youth Swim Lesson

Children 6-12 years old, this program comprises five main components; personal growth, personal safety, stroke development, water sports and games and rescue. Each skill level builds upon the preceding level, covering all the strokes, diving fundamentals and safety skills.

Adult Swim Lesson

This class is designed for individuals age 14 and up who are "ready" to learn to swim. Objectives for this class are to assist a participant in water adjustment and overcoming their fear of water or to improve rudimentary front/back crawl/paddle skills and increase endurance. The major focus will be for each individual to meet and improve their personal swimming goals and abilities.

Private Swim Lessons

This instructional class is designed for one on one private swimming or competitive lessons for one individual at any age with any skill level.

Semi Private Swim Lessons

This small group instructional class is designed for two individuals of equal swimming or competitive skill level.
