Just jump right in—the water’s great! The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga offers more indoor and outdoor pools than any other facility in Chattanooga. So you can swim laps, participate in a water exercise class, or just play to your heart's content!
The YMCA also offers year-around swim lessons! Whether you are enrolling your child or yourself, the Y has a class to suit your needs—group swim lessons, individual lessons, adult lessons or lessons in your own backyard!

- Downtown Family YMCA – indoors pools
- Hamilton Family YMCA – indoor and outdoor pools
- North River Family YMCA – indoor pools
- Rhea Family YMCA – pools available off-site
- J.A. Henry Family YMCA – no pool.
- North Georgia Family YMCA – no pool.
Although
the J.A. Henry Family YMCA and the North Georgia Family YMCA do not have
swimming pools on-site, YMCA members may use the pools at other YMCAs if
they have an association-wide membership. If you have a branch membership,
you may upgrade to an association-side membership at the courtesy desk.
