The YMCA’s Black, Youth, and Minority Achievers program is a career development program, which meets two Saturdays a month. A guest speaker addresses the group and then they break into cluster groups focusing on education, law enforcement, computers, business, engineering and the medical field. During the program, the students also plan college visits to gain insights into college life and the responsibilities it brings.
