Volunteers provide essential assistance in the administration of each department division, serve on committees, work with staff to meet the needs of our members and participants, and provide many other valuable contributions to the organization. Our YMCA offers year-round volunteer opportunities for members and non-members from the community and surrounding areas to give back and help build a better community within our Y. Opportunities range throughout the year and are based upon need within a program or department. 

 

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to help at your local Y. Volunteering does more than just help others, it can change your own life for the better. That's what we're all about here at the Y. 

Whether it's prepping healthy meals for inner city youths, YMCA Food and Fun, summer feeding programs, or other Y outreach programs, sometimes we have no idea the impact volunteering will have on us, as well as those we serve.

As a volunteer, you must complete a background check and fill out a volunteer application. If you wish to work with children, a fingerprint check is required in addition to a background check. Contact one of the following contacts to learn more:
