Participation in boxing teaches discipline, self-control, coordination, and teamwork.

 

The Chattanooga YMCA Y-CAP Boxing Club is for kids in the afterschool program, as well as kids and adults who want to learn how to box, either for exercise or competition. Chattanooga Y-CAP Boxing Club has produced dozens of national and world championship titles, 14 Golden Glove titles, three professional boxers and one team manager for the 2008 Olympic Games. 

Boxing is also available to youth in the Y-CAP Cleveland and Y-CAP Brainerd programs, using the boxing rings at Y-CAP Cleveland. 

 

Y-CAP Boxing Membership:

Cost: $50 per month

Age: 18+

Access: YMCA members & non-members will have access to all Y-CAP boxing classes with Y-CAP membership.
