At the YMCA, kids develop all of their skills, from catching and dribbling to teamwork and sportsmanship. Just as important, they learn firsthand the benefits of being healthy & active and that virtual games just can't compare to the real thing. Youth Sports are offered year-round and always need great coaches. Use your talents to encourage, guide and train young athletes at the Y! We offer the following programs in our association

YOUTH SPORTS REGISTRATION FORM
Hit the hardwoods with the folks who invented the game - the Y! Basketball was invented right here in 1891.
Y youth sports encourage and promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition rather than rivalry, the value of participation over winning, team-building as well as individual development, a positive self-image and a sense of fair play and mutual respect for others. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches - as well as being their kid's greatest fan.

Hamilton Family YMCA Youth Basketball
An introduction to the popular sport invented at the YMCA. Participants develop skills in the areas of passing, setting and serving.
Got game? Emphasis is on teaching the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere. Children will have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as underhand serving, setting, hitting, and digging in a non-competitive environment.
