Lap Swim
We offer specific lap swim times in the morning and afternoon. Our pool is a multi-use pool, but we do our best to have at least two lanes available for lap swim. The number of lap lanes available during the day is the listed on the Pool Schedule in bolded numbers.

Only Coast Guard-approved personal floatation devices (PFDs) are allowed.

Cannot take or did not pass the swim test and must stay in the shallow end.
Green Wristbands

Passed the swim test and may go anywhere in the pool.
Red Wristbands
- Children ages 13 and under must have a parent/guardian in the immediate pool area.
- Must wear a Coast Guard-approved PFD and remain in the shallow end.
- Children not in a PFD must have an adult actively supervising them in the water within arms reach: 1 adult per child required.
- Children 4 and under must be accompanied in the water by a parent/guardian
Green Wristbands
- Children ages 10 and under must have a parent/guardian in the immediate pool area.
- Children ages 11-13 must have a parent/guardian in the facility.
- Children 14-17 may use pool without parent/guardian supervision.
- May swim in the shallow end and deep end.
NOTE: Must pass swim test annually.
Swim Test
- Swim 1 pool length unassisted without rest using a forward-facing stroke.
- Maintain a horizontal position for the entire distance: legs should not drop below a 45-degree angle.
- Exit the pool without the support of a ladder.
- Jump back into the pool, submerge fully, resurface and begin treading water for 1 min.
NOTE: Lifeguards have discretion to require a PFD or a swim retest at any time.
Have Fun. Make a Splash. Be Safe.
- No recreational floats (tubes, rafts, etc.).
- No pushing, dunking nor rough play.
- No diving in shallow end.
- Appropriate swim attire required.
- Refrain from public displays of affection.
- Lightning within 10 miles or thunder will constitute immediate closure for no less than 30 min. from the last lightning strike or sound of thunder.
