MCCLENDON CURTIS

MCCLENDON CURTIS

Professional football player | YCAP Chattanooga participant

A graduate of Central High School and the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Curtis was born and raised in Chattanooga. Growing up, he participated in YCAP Chattanooga, an intervention program for children ages 10-14. Curtis says the program gave him the opportunity to create more structure in his life and to learn from his mistakes, while providing him the space to grow as a young man. He is grateful to YCAP because he says it was his second chance before getting into the real world. He was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders in May 2023 and then by the Seattle Seahawks in September 2023. Curtis joined the Arizona Cardinals in January 2025.

Career highlights and awards:

  • FCS All-American (2022)
  • SoCon Jacobs Blocking Trophy (2022)
  • 3x First-team All-SoCo (2020-2022)
