Youth Fitness Classes at the YMCA! Kids will be able to build strength, motivation, and have fun!
Youth classes are offered at the following locations:
North River Family YMCA
- Athletic Conditioning - Tuesday/Thursday
- Ages 12-15 - 6 p.m.
(parents not required to attend but must remain onsite)
- Ages 12-15 - 6 p.m.
Downtown Family YMCA
- CrossFit Kids - Monday/Wednesday
- Ages 6-8 - 4:30 p.m.
- Ages 9-12 - 5:30 p.m.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Ages 3-5 - 10 a.m.
Hamilton Family YMCA
These classes are seasonal, please check with branch for upcoming dates/times
Family Fitness Days - Wednesday
- Circuit Training -
- Ages 8+ at 9 a.m. (parent must be present)
- Kids Yoga -
- Ages 5+ at 10:15 a.m. (parent encouraged to attend)
- Family Zumba -
- All ages at 12 p.m. (parent encouraged to attend)
READY TO LEVEL UP YOUR FITNESS ROUTINE?
Our Youth Orientations aim to show children and teens (ages 10-15) how to safely and effectively exercise in the Wellness Center. They will work with a certified trainer to learn basic muscle anatomy, exercise recommendations, guidelines, gym etiquette and best safety practices.
If you're not looking to level up and just want to learn about working out on the wellness floor, enjoy these sessions for FREE!
Upon successful completion of youth orientation:
10 - 11 yrs old:
- Will gain access to machine weights. This does not include our cable stations.
12 - 15 yrs old:
- Will gain full access to the Wellness Center. Squat rack use discouraged.
Cost:
$35 - up to groups of 3
- 1 hour session
